Lug Nut

So I was pulling all my wheels off the other day to paint em black(pics laters) and while is was loosening the last wheel lock part of the bolt itself broke off. I took it to a tireworks and they cut it off, my question is how bad is it to only be driving on four lug nuts instead of 5, It'll we take me a do or so to get a new one and I need to car to get to work.

I had one of my lugs fall off because I did'nt tighten it down enough.I drove around for awhile with just four lugs it's okay but if you can get some lug and put them on,better safe than sorry.

Driving with four should be fine but I agree, fixing the problem would be ideal. I believe you can purchase a single lug nut stud and replace it. I did it in a Celica and recall it was straight forward.

Here's a link

When I installed it, I used several washers and the lug nut to tighten it into place.

how long is your commute? If it's not too far and its only for a day or two I wouldn't worry about it, but replace the stud as soon as possible.

Incompetent Tire Shop....:[

Any good tire shop would have replaced the lug bolt while you were there,
that just shows how incompetent they really are! You're alright running with just 4 but I'd get it fixed when you can....sooner the better.
