Some times you gotta go to your job man... Not a whole lot you can do if you only have 1 car.

Last year i drove in a good half a foot in my car right after i got it. i was on A/S tires. That was a scary journey. G did it, not very well, but it did it. I just had to avoid hills and not stop on them.

I'm glad I have a beater, I don't think I would drive the G in the snow if I had to.

+1

I have been rocking my A/S's, and my rims throughout the past 2 winters. Granted over here in NYC only this year did we really get any serious snow-fall which did make me leave the car parked for 1 full day. Which is the most rest it's had since it has been purchased in December of 2002.

Wow rich that really sucks. Reminds me of my buddy and I who ended up in 2 crashes with his STI in the snow, we hit the side of the mountain and the other time we hit a BBQ that was cemented into the ground and uprooted it STI only had a scratch on the bumper tho

Oh and he was on bald R compounds

Winter Still Sux in VA

Feel for you man, grew up in SoCal - don't even remember ever scrapping the windshield and never learned how to drive in snow without 4wd. At least here in Arlington there's Metro (subway) to get around & just leave the G in her crib! Still have to deal with road salt for a week after though which aint real pretty on Laser Red...

G35 coupes don't like the snow much, the tires are too wide and the car is too low. In snow the G35 coupe need winter tires, all seasons don't work.

If you G35 has to go out into the snow do yourself a favor and get a second set winter tires. I used the rims that came with the car to mount the winter tires on and bought rims from a 350Z (touring 06) for the summer.

Me either, but what's "Snow?" Sorry, just being a smart azz. We
haven't seen that white stuff since '86 but it did last all day....unusual. No
less than 10 miles north of me they get 3' to 4' of snow this time of year
cause they're at a higher elevation. Most everyone that lives in that area
have 4X4s....no thanks.

we get a pretty fair amount where I live, one of the reasons I plan on getting a QX in the near future (as an addition to, not replacement of, the G).

That piece of land your blue Sedan is sitting on just has fun written all over it

I drive around in my beater for the winter. I don't have to worry that its going to start snowing when I'm out having a good time.
