hey guys whats up i am new to this web site and all but i have made a post a cupple dayz ago and i wanted some info on some stuff to know on what i can do to my g35c when it arives i wanna do some performance upgrades that will no mess up my warranty and i keep hearing about this grounding kit i have no idea what it is and what it does so can any one help me ?

 

Adding a K&N filter will improve performance and not void your warranty.

 

hey thx alot man...i was wondering if i put a cold air intake witch type can i use that would give me the best performance upgrade ?

 

Injen and Stillen have em out right now.....K&N coming soon, supposedly better than the rest, we will wait and see. HP gains 10-12hp.

Not sure about the grounding kit but most people say its good for 1-2HP

You would probably need to add an exhaust as well to get up to 300hp.

I doubt you will reach 300 hp mark. Hopefully you are talking about at 300bhp not wrhp. Anyways, there are so much "talk" about filter, exhaust, and chips. Unless someone who done dyno testing with these items on their coupe I don't buy it. I have never seen individual doing the dyno for themselves. It's all those aftermarket company doing the dyno.

So what I am trying to say is...I can't trust those cheap mods. I only believe in forced induction =D

 

Tornado? Those things dont work. It defies the laws of physics..and there is nothing supernatural about it.
A large piece of aluminum blocking the air intake path, thereby restricting airflow...
Tornado has got to be up there, interms of gimmics, of such products as E-Ram intake...lol
dont do it, i've heard of stories where the tornado can break or just get sucked into the intake manifold, not good.

Why are you so concerned before you even get the car?
You gotta learn how to drive it well before you get good 1/4 mile times.

Give it time man. I have not seen alot of quality products on the market yet for this car. Just enjoy it and soon there will be plenty. Remember time and competition fosters a good product. Peace.

hey thanks for all the reply's guys ..i am to excited i cant wait till i get my ivory perl, graphite, premium, sport, nav....it have every thing but the areo package...the dealer i ordered it from have car's coming in and they only have the premium package on it and i have to have all the goodies so i have to wait...the sales man over at Miller infiniti in Sherman oaks said that he would know today what his shipmint would be for april...and every time i call the line is busy so im just gonna take a drive down there and see what's up...so i'll keep you guys posted when i get back...once again thx for all the reply's
