What to look out for

Hey fellow beautiful car drivers,

I just purchased my 04 G coupe, 5AT, OB, 18"s. It has 62k miles on it. The guy I bought it from is a mechanic and he said that he checked all of the fluids etc.

Are there any fluids/common things I should check now while I still have some warranty left? He said he just did a synthetic oil change, but I'm not sure about anything else.

please help!

Welcome to Driver....enjoy your new ride!

If your seller was a good mechanic you don't have any worries, that
is the question. Pull the dipstick (you'll need a flashlight I always do) check
the oil, check the brake fluid level should be full to the line. (that's on the
right side of your firewall) My next concern would be brakes and pad thickness. (you'll need the flashlight again) If you have any other concerns
take it into your Infiniti/Nissan dealership and ask them to go thru your car....just to be safe!

If I were you I would do an oil change anyways just to be safe. Like Gary said just check all the main fluids and make sure nothing is low. Brake pads is def a good thing to check. Congrats on the buy and Welcome to driver!
