someone hit my car...

In the parking lot where I work someone had the audacity to hit my 2004 G35 coupe and just take off without leaving a note or anything...

The damage is a huge dent on my driver side rear panel next to the wheel, and then large scratches that are about 18" long going onto my door and to top it all off they also hit my side view mirror...

Based on initial quote I got I'm looking at about $2200 cnd to fix this.

If I go through Insurance I have to still pay my deductible which is around $150 bucks but I lose my deductible rewards I've been earning for several years now... each year I'm claims free my deductible drops by 50 bucks.

What's even worse is that I work for a Home & Auto insurance company so someone who hit my car is a fellow employee here since it was an employee parking lot where it happened. It could be anyone here I work with...

You have insurance, use it. That why you pay for it. Dont dwell over it. $150 is GREAT!

I'd be walking around the parking lot looking for the car with damages that's comparable to yours. And I'd definitely go through insurance, but good luck with your repairs.

Yeah that's what I did, I walked around but unfortunately there are 3 levels each with several hundred cars. I have narrowed the search down to minivans or vehicles around that size. Based on the height of the damage and the width of the scratches it was a vehicle this size that hit me.

Is there a company message board or something you might use to shame them into admitting to it?

Any video camera in this garage? And I have to agree go through insurance its why you pay for it. I would be on a man hunt if I were you stalking anyone with the slightest scratch on their car.

Sadly no video cameras inside the parking lot, just a camera near the entrance that takes still pictures.

When I did go for my walkabout hunting for a possible suspect I noticed several minivans that do have damage on their front bumper passenger side. The damage was white paint though and mine is a black car.

Sorry man, thats to bad. If your initial quote was $2,200 then have the insurance company take it from here. Most of the time when a shop tells you one price it will go up after they have the car in there shop.
