I looked at my owners manual and warranty manual for my car to see if and for how long my OEM muffler would be covered, but could not find anything that addressed it. I found notations on manifolds, egr, etc, but not "muffler".

Anyone know how long this is under warranty for?

The reason I ask is that it appears that I might have some loose or broken things inside of it. Sounds like loose chain links or some small bits of metal bouncing around in there when I am driving and pass through uneven terrain in the road and/or jittery patches along the road. So I want to see if I could start an arguement with the local dealer about it and either get it replaced free of charge if under warranty or pay a difference of such.
