Boxer...let me know what happens...I have the same problem...unfortunately I can't blame the damn valet guy...just me, myself and I.

Mine is scratched pretty bad and I'm not sure if it's worth it to get it fixed or just eat it and buy a new one.

Re: It was only a matter of time.

BUDDY.

I read this and this pisses me off so bad ...

It makes me wanna get my car early,
take it to the valet ...
sneak out back ..
video tape the buggers DOING ANYTHING WRONG...

and blackmail the hell outta them !!!!
TILL THIS IS FIXED TO MY 110% SATISFACTION!!!!

PERIOD.

and hhahahhahah .... after the car is fixed ..
its time for the valet guy to pay up the old fashion way !!

Let your imagination answer that ONE.

BUT .. I can't get my car early ... so hey .. maybe you should do it for me??? ... OR YOU !

Re: It was only a matter of time.

Well i finally got a hold of the valet guy, had a nice little conversation with him. and he offered to pay for a new rim from the dealer, (i think he realized that paying for a new rim would be much better then hospitall bills).
On a seperate note, there are some bird Sh*t stains on the car i just noticed them, i quickly tried to remove them but to no avail, it looks like it soaked into the paint,, whats the best way to get this removed,, sorry if its not relevant to this thread ..

Re: It was only a matter of time.

Try using a good Cleaner wax from any reputable manufacturer. Just don't wait for days to try something.

Awesome! Image someone actually owning up to something they did. On a side note I went to the bar the other night an ran into some friends. There was a guy there with them whom was a valet for a very ritzy italian restuarant in downtown Long Beach. He found out I had just bought a G35 and went crazy. I said "Oh you own one too?". He then proceeds to tell me about how all the valets himself included take all the dope sports cars out for quickie joy rides around the block before parking. I thought that was just Ferris Bueller's Day Off crap. He said that's how he found out how fast the G coupe is. I WILL NEVER VALET AGAIN.....

Re: It was only a matter of time.

You know, my Dad had a chip in his truck that had 6 different modes... an economy, a performance, a hauling mode, etc... and one was a valet mode that limits the rpm's to something sane and the top speed to 65 or so to prevent that sort of thing. I'd love to see a performance chip with such a feature.

Granted, his truck was a 91 Chevy with the fuel-injection system from a Camaro, so the engine chip was a custom program job.

Re: It was only a matter of time.

It took me awhile to finally catch up to the guy, like i stated earlier in the post i kept on going back there but everytime he saw me coming he dissapered. so i went with a few of my boxing partners in a diferent car. we pulled up to the restaurant like we were going to eat he didnt realize who it was untill he opened up the door... wish i had a camera to show everyone the look on his face...

Re: It was only a matter of time.

If you're in the LA or OC areas in Ca "Mag Masters" in Santa Ana does a great job with fixing rims. I had my Racing Harts repaired there which we're damaged in an accident. The rims looked spankin new after the work was performed.
