First of all, thank you for defending our country. I have 21k on my stock Potenzas, still have abiut 3K left on them. These cars are driven hard just like a true sports car, therefore, excessive tire wear. Don't even consider anything smaller than 19's, you'll regret it.

Thanks again for your sacrifice, it means a lot.

and I agree with what most of the people have said, the tires may run out faster than normal cars but you figure with a sports car that is likely to happen. the biggest issue with that is that with 19s the tires tend to be more expensive.

i dont feel like the wear is that absurd, but it is substantial. you could pull of 18s and still look pretty good and save a bit that way, but i wouldnt go down to 17s because those would look strange being so small..

19's have more expensive tires due to the specs. I went to merchants and they told me maserati was the only other car that produced stock rims with those specs.. I ended up gettin 20's but that's just me. The car will wear faster due to the stock negative camber, but that's only 1-3k miles faster tho. Negative camber = better handling. i wouldnt want to sacrifice my handling/cornering for for 3k miles of rubber. Plus if u know u have 3k miles left then ur prolly already looking for a new set anyways.

I replaced my stock 19's at 35k because the rears started to feather pretty bad. The front still had a good 10k to go. I'm currently at 57k with General Exclaim tires and they still have plenty of tread life. I purchased lifetime alignment at Firestone and take it in every 4-5 months.

When I first started looking at the G I was told the 04-05 sometimes had issues with uneven tire wear and really going through tires. I was told they had the problems (don't know what they were) fixed and it wasn't an issue for the 06 and up. I have on 06, sport pkg. 6mt and got 27,500 on original tires. I'm pretty happy with that, it does suck that the tires are so expensive, but oh well. The wear on mine was really even also, that made me feel good. Now the oil consumption is another issue!

I failed to mention I have 14,500 miles and the B Potenzas are almost toast 90% -but this seems normal if you drive hard and track, autocross. Thats when you learn to get extra race tires...I'm hoping to get 20,000 miles out of next set.
