Hey I got a ticket in AL but my driver license is MD. So my question is will the points for speeding go on my record? Or just the violation? I have the option to go to driver school but if the speeding ticket won't go on my record then I just want to pay the fine. Please need some advice. Oh and the cop never put my license plate number on the ticket and put down nissan z instead of a infiniti G35. Ya think i can get off on techicallity?

You won't get off on the technicality, that much I can tell you for sure. As for whether the points will go on your license-- if both states share the info, as many, many do now, then you're in a tough spot. Regardless, AL will send you a nice notice if you don't pay the ticket, and MD may suspend your license. My suggestion would be to go ahead and take the traffic school offered... most states are sharing points now, so be careful.
