Greddy vs Borla

I've been looking a exhaust systems over the last coupe of weeks and I've narrowed to down to borla and greddy. the greddy is cheaper but offers less hp, so my question is do I spend the money for the borla or save it and buy to greddy + something else(grill or front lip spoiler). i do have to say that performance + sound are my priorities in that order. i don't want to spend more than $800. So. if you have suggestions pls give them...then if they're diffenrent than these 2. thx

Re: Greddy vs Borla

If you want horsepower for $800 get the Kinetix Plenum and cat combo for just under $800. Normally I'd suggest Crawford cats and plenum, but if your budget is $800 the Kinetix option would be my choice. You'll probably get 2 to 3 times the hp from the cat/plenum combo compared to any of the 2 exhausts you mentioned.

If you want an exhaust, I'd not worry about horsepower too much. All exhausts make within 3-4 hp of each other, and you'll never notice 3-4 hp. I'd recommend going for sound over hp if you're looking for an exhaust.

Good Luck.

If I install those mods, will I have problems with my ecu sensor or passing emissions at any time? By the way, just installed the z tube/popcharger combo...love it, very easy installation

Don't, I repeat Don't consider the Kinetix plenum. If you are a member of my350z.com, go over there and see all the people with cracked plenums. One guy was left stranded in the middle of no where with a car that wouldn't run, because of a major crack. The Crawford is another story, that just flat out works. Get the Crawford, and later when you can afford it, go for the Crawford hi-flow cats.
