According to popular mechanics,

ALL SAID AND DONE
Neither front-wheel drive nor rear-wheel drive is really better than the other. Today's sophisticated traction and stability control systems are so good they can mask or enhance the true driving dynamics of a vehicle. That
said, through most of this test we found the effectiveness of these systems had more to do with a car's performance than which wheels were actually doing the driving.

Very limited test parameters. When F1 runs FWD, I might take notice.

True, but for everyday driving, cost efficiency, and easy to mass produce, FWD are good for what people use them for.

I have a G, but its just to cruise.

I use mine to drive. My stock G handles circles around my pretty highly modded maxima.

the torque steer drove me completely nuts, and i had only been in the car for less than an hour test driving it. that was a newer acura tl too. ill say it again, i hate fwd, but i can see where it is better for the uneducated, and under experienced drivers
