Getting My Injen CAI and Eibach Pro-Kit Installed
Getting My Injen CAI and Eibach Pro-Kit Installed
Finally some of the good stuff is here. In less than 13 hours I will have my DG Coupe in my import shop getting my Eibach Pro-kit and Injen intake installed. In a matter of a few hours tomorrow the car will be on it's way to be a much meaner machine. Gotta love it. My B&B Exhaust is also on it's way, that should be ready sometime next week and my 19 inch ROH Wheels should be here any day. Let the good times roll baby. I will update with pics hopefully tomorrow or Saturday.

huh, you know what's intesting; i looked at a dyno for the injen and one for just a k&n installed, both auto, 3rd gear, the injen intake makes +1hp and +2tq more. granted, there's differences in vehicles but if it holds true generally then there would be no benefit to paying +300 for an intake, when the filter will do just fine by itself....which supports what i've always thoght (That the intake is already well designed and very little can be gained by swapping it)

The total cost was actually not too bad. My import guy has hookups and is a friend of mine. The B&B was about $915 plus about $50 in shipping. The intake was about $215 or so plus a little bit in shipping. As for the springs, the Coupe Pro-Kit is indeed not out yet, BUT, through a little bit of research and a knowledgeable import man, we found out that the Sedan springs do work on the Coupe. A friend of his in California actually lowered his Coupe with the Sedan pro-kit. The Coupe is only 50 pounds heavier than the Sedan and there are no other real defining differences in regards to lowering the car. The springs cost me with shipping about $340. And last but not least, my rims were the pocket buster ringing in at $3900 for wheels and tires. Like I said, tomorrow is just intake and springs. Exhaust and wheels are still in transit. Half of the masterpiece will be done tomorrow
