Window problem help needed!!

Here's the situation, i can't find any info regarding the well known window problems that coupes have. My friend's 03 coupe will not roll down the driver's window all the time. Also, when he gets out of the car and shuts the door, the window does not go all the way up to make the nice seal. it stays down at the 1/4 inch mark without extending back up.

Also, a while back when the window was working fine, there were the creaks and rattles, but the dealer said that because there was tint on the car, they would not warranty it. is this how it normally is for those with tint? will they not warranty the window motor because tint was put on the car? any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks!

Go on this site it should have all the info you need make sure you print the TSB for the window and when you go to the dealer dont take no bullshit from them.Tell them to prove it was the tint.
