04 coupe sound from back of car

Recently,
I have noticed a noise coming from back of car. This is when the road is a bit bumpy and it has started to happen recently. Initially I thought it would be something in the car trunk that making the noise but even after taking the stuff out of the trunk i hear that noise. While on a highway i dont hear that noise, its more on local streets when the road is bit bumpy. I am pretty sure that the noise is from the back.

Can somebody please help

If you have to, take your carpet up in the truck and make sure the mounts for the Bose amplifier havent broken. My Bose amp was ploppin around and driving me insane for the longest time before I decided to go after market.....just a suggestion...

guys...same sh#t here...early this week...hit a construction bump on the freeway and now there is this stupid rattle/vibration sound when the car/engine is under load. doesn't matter what gear, between 2500-3500 rpm's , after 3500 rpm's it stops until i give gas to pass someone. i thought it was coming from the trunk also, tore the whole thing apart, nothing, under the rear seat nothing, rear speakers nothing...only thing i haven't done is check the side rear (quarter)panels...thought it might have been my exhaust...had the car up on two seperate hoists...everything underneath the car is rock solid. Finally i spoke with a friend who's dad is a mechanic and he said it may be my brakes or drivetrain..great. I am getting a brake job later this week and new shocks/struts in 2 weeks so we'll see if it is that..car only has 52k, never anything like this before...i have an appointment scheduled at infiniti but i think i'm going to wait and see what happens..cuz i don't really feel like paying them 129 an hour to do what i have already tried...any suggestions or ideas whould be helpful...freakin frustrated in seattle. in response to other threads...my rear seatbelts are fastened so they don't slide beneath the seat. not the amp...that thing is tight...checked all 7 bolts??????

Take someone for a ride in your car and ask them. These crazy noises are impossible for any of us to identify to give you a justified answer.

It might be the rear axel click that you're talking about... if so, there is a TSB for that repair if your car is still under the powertrain warranty.

How many miles does our power train warranty have.

I live in Canada, so I'm not really sure how many km it is. I bought the car used 3 months ago.

I guess i'll also point out, I find it goes away after 15 minutes of driving or so.

The factory powertrain warranty is 6 years or 70K miles... whichever comes first. Assuming it's the same warranty distance in Canada, that equates to about 113 thousand Kilometers.

If it goes away after 15 minutes of driving, it's probably not the axel click thing. That's more than likely an exhaust issue, since exhaust components heat up quickly, and with that heat they expand, and often quiet down.
