Last night I was going to meet up some homies at starbucks, with 2 of my brothers riding along , so i decided to get some cigs from 7-11 before we meet up. As I'm about to make a left turn so i can turn right to go into the parking lot of 7-11 i see this grey skyline r33 pop out of the 76 gas station. So I said [censored] the cigs they can wait and we followed the skyline r33. I looked at the guy he looked like he was in his early 30's smoking a cigar. I wanted to get him to run with me so i was started fu*kin with him and right when i past him he switched lanes and put his nose right on my *** for 10 secs till we cleared traffic, and than we hit a traffic light.
Lane one: Me- G35 coupe 6mt / 20" Iforged swift, no engine mods yet
Lane two: Skyline R33 looked like an aftermarket exhaust system ( that all i know )
Lane three: Civic Si rice burners tryed to tag along

I started talkin to the guy in the skyline saying, " that thing is sick man how did you get it"? the cocky motherfu*ker answers, "i spanked a bitch that had one."

Light turns green i didnt lauch it hard , skyline lauched hard , civic tryed to , i immediatly got the lead and kept pulling and pulling on the skyline till 110 i was a car and a half in front than let off and both of them do ricer fly bys.

I wish i had my [censored] camera on me. Maybe next time !

How fast are the R33's anyway? Was it just a bad driver or will our cars beat an r33?

My friends R32 has down pipes, intake, and full exhaust and ran a 11.6 in vegas. I'm guessing the guy either didn't know how to drive or something was wrong with his car. Btw, my "ricer" teg can destroy my G35.

 

No matter what, it sounds like the driver deserved the beating... Good job! If the car wasn't running right, that would just make me feel that much worse... Just knowing that I should have won, but didn't... Ouch!

 

the guy had an exhaust system on it i dont know weather it was full of just a catback.

I must say the car was beautiful, it had the rear window wiper, had the right hand driver side, Nissan BBK kit, but the guy was an [censored]. He got spanked though, I ran the car so hard I chirped 3rd gear with 3 people in the car and running 285/30/20 Michelin Pilot Sport in the rear.

What model of the R33 was it? Was it a GT, GTS, or GTS-T? Because it if was an GTR I know the race would be closer.

 

Yes there are different versions of the Skyline. Just like ours there are 2 door and 4 door. As in the R33 there are GT, GTS, GTS-T, and GT-R. What did the skyline look like. Did it look like this?

You sure it is not a fake? It might be a accord with the body kit.
There is a fake R32 here in Miami, I saw it at a mall. GTR has AWD and should have a good launch.

 

Yeah plus you have 20's on so it would be hard to beat down a pony on steroids with those on. Sorry I don't know where I go the whole pony on 'roids thing. Just kinda popped into my head and I'm kinda tired and ....so.... yeah

I really doubt it... a R33 GTR stands out like a sore thumb. I really don't think even the most Skylined out Accord with the real GTR front and rear conversion can even come 50% close to the original design.

With AWD, Turbo, and the GTR tag name, it's really difficult to vision a G35 Coupe 6 MT have any real competion against it... but with any car... it's all driver. Just because someone is able to afford a R33 doesn't necessarily mean they can drive one.

Must've been a sight though... I've only see a R32 around the streets of San Jose. The only time I've ever seen a R33 or R34 is in Japan or a car show.
