also, if you want a car with an Infiniti warranty, they will not certify it if it is more than 4years old (or above 60k miles).

personally, I tend to shy away from first year models (03,04) b/c the next years models are always "improvements" over the previous. You'll read here that many 03 owners have had more complaints that 05/06 owners (some due to radio/AC controls).

Hope this helps, and you are able to make a wise selection.

i have an 03... however, my gauges, clock are all 06-07, leather is being changed to red (alligator style), front, backs, sides are all aftermarket.... center console is being customized for an 8" touch, lights are projectors, boltons....rims. in the end... its not an 03,04,05,06,07 ..... its an 09 style the way i like it....

i'm not saying the 03's didnt' have problems but... it depends on what you do with the car.... i put in over 10k already but if i bought an 06, i would've still spent that amount and would've been stuck with a few features from the 06.... you should plan ahead... are you going to change the exterior? interior? like you said, a few boltons will bring your ponies back up to an 06-07.. just make sure the mileage is good

But an 05 or newer with lower miles, don't buy an 03 with 0 warranty and dump a load of cash in it, unless you have disposeable income, you would NEVER get out of it what you put into it if you chose to sell, been there done that........... Just me 2 cents.

To each his own, I am sure t7 has a nice car but you do seem to be very interested in what comes with each year and warranty so thats my advice.

I have an 04 with the old shift **** (AT) and I have seen some 04's with the newer shifter, so I'm sure there were small changes between 03/04...
