i kno lotsa folks are prolly gunna hate on me for this, but it just bugs me when i see in somebody's signature line about them having "jdm corners"... give me break.. clear corners don't come stock on our cars in japan.. the same orange corners that came on your car came on the same car in japan..

Wow Def, we're sorry that JDM thing bothers you that much. I've had those sides for a couple years now, you know the ones with the hump that come from Japan. They're way better than the flat clears I used prior, you know prior to getting the JDM clears. With 424 posts is there anything else that makes you nuckingfuts? Got to be something, go ahead and share with your fellow members....it's good to release your anger!

you know what bothers me? i've been trying to get these clear corners for a while and every attempt seems to fail at a certain point. i first tried Ebay, aunction ended before i could rebid... then i msg'd tony@riversideinfiniti, no response, i guess i gotta try ebay again.. this really sucks... since the ones on ebay are JDM (sticks out).. i just want the ones that are clear and flush (like the factory ones) ..

 

I bought mine on ebay and they fit perfectly and took all of a minute per side to install. I can find out who the seller was if you need help. PM me.

 

I got mine from riversideinfiniti's ebay store. they install easy and look very nice. I got my oil change at the dealer and the guy looking over the car just kept looking at the front. he could not figure out what was different. finally i told him to look at the clear corners. it was kinda funny to me.

 

you know what bugs me? when i hear people talking about getting JDM b16, b18, b20 swaps and what not and yellow light bulbs because they are so JDM and what not

I agree. I see a bunch of "JDM" cars here that' aren't JDM lol. I mean half of the stuff on there are aftermarket, fiberglass copies.

The most I would give them is "aftermarket JDM', but not JDM.

The JDM craze started from the Honda boys when they converted their USDM Integra to a JDM integra by replacing the front bumper, fenders, and interior with OEM JDM parts. Not aftermarket parts.

Why? Because the JDM integra had a better looking front end. "HIDS, better looking headlights instead of the 4 circles, etc etc".

 

the jdm thing doesn't bother me at all - im all for japanese domestic market. i guess its the implication that people think clears are necessarily jdm... or that jdm implies thats how the car comes stock in japan.. i like clears, in fact i have them (even tho i recently took them off, but i may put them back on some day). most of the time when people say jdm, they are implying thats how the car came, which in this case aint so. now in the case of the integra, like jibberjabbers said, that is actually true... the integra type-r's front end was totally different in japan.. and i remember back in the days when anybody had the conversion done it was like wow.. i've had clears since '95 in my honda civic.. and went thru many different types.. ending up lastly with jdm oem corners, which for that car were amber but without the reflector. so yah, i have no problem with jdm or clear corners.. i just think its funny when i see cars driving by with JDM stickers plasted all over the place rollin on american racing wheels.. or when i see clear corners in a sig line.. its like your trying to find things to make it look like youve done alot to your car.. might as well list what stickers you got on your car too.. and f it, why not, list that you use 91 octane and synthetic oil while your at it

They put "JDM" on anything to get people to buy it. Go on ebay and type JDM. LOL. How many of the searches come up with parts from China .LOL
