DIY guide on removing rear trunk spoiler

I need the step by step DIY guide on removing that fugly thing. Does anyone have it?

there will be holes in the trunk for bolts to fasten it, as well as allow the wire to pass through for the brake light.

remove inner trunk lid finishers to access the bolts. you might need to reroute the connector back into the original 3rd brake light. easy stuff.

the hard part is filling in the holes.

If your replacing it why does it matter if the spoiler is on the old trunk lid or not?
