Thoughts on TOYO T1R tires.

Just bought a set of 19" Toyo T1R tires. Got them all for $1400 Balances/Installed. Anyone have any thoughts on the tires??

A lot of guys run them on this site so they must be pretty good. No personal experience but we got guys running them on work and volk wheels which are expensive so the tires must be good.

Too soft
too expensive

Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta will run you half of that and it's a much better tire.

Just because a lot of people run them and on expensive wheels doesn't mean they're good.

A lot of people run them, especially on here, because vendors push them when they sell wheels. In other words, $$$.

They're not expensive considering what came stock on the car. I love my toyo's, good grip in wet and dry. Only downside is that they are a little noisy, but I am running 35 and 30 profiles front and rear, respectively.

I like mine, they handle the corners and rain well, but I did not pay $1,400 for them!

i had them on my volks and they were pretty damn good, but my alignment wore the rears too fast, so i switched to falken 452's and couldnt be happier. but i just put some michelin pilot sport A/S on my stock rays and damn, thats a good tire. IMO
