I have a LR coupe, and the side mirror black trim is fading to grey on both sides! My 4 yr bumper to bumper expires next month, do you think they will cover it?

Not so sure, but I've used something called "Back to Black". It seems to work well and can be picked up at any auto store.

I tried that, but every time it rains, it creates streaking.

try the dealer and let us know but i think that fading is due to uv rays or something which would be normal wear and tear, right?

It's your fault for not taking care of your car, so no, they won't replace it. Next time, cover your trim with 303 Aerospace protectant every week or 2 and keep it looking new.

You can re-dye it black if you want. Also, Black WOW works pretty well if you don't want to re-dye it.

Same here. That stuff works really well. Doesn't rain much in San Diego, so it lasts for months for me and I've never noticed any streaking. Make sure you wipe off excess...
