Tire and Tire rotation question...

Hello everyone I recently had a flat tire and will be replacing that tire tomorrow. It is one wheel located on the front left.

I own a 2004 G35 coupe with performance wheel package. 225/45/18 which are currently running on michelin sport(summer tires). I currently dont have the funds to buy another michelin sport so i was told the cheapest and best tire to replace was the hankook v4 (all season tire). By townfair tire gurus.

When I get the tire mounted tomorrow should I place the tire on the rear? or just keep it on the front left?

Im at 20k miles, how should I rotate the tires?

Thanks a lot. Seems to be a ton of very knowlegdable G35 owners here.

If yours is a coupe. i dont think you can rotate tires since you have staggered fitment.
Unless if they are all the same size then I'd rotate front to back and yep..

your rear tires should be 245/something/18

So you cant rotate tires on the coupe

If they're symmetrical, then he can flip them.

You can't rotate the tires on a coupe, although Infiniti stealerships will be glad to charge you to do so.... Have the new tire installed where the old one was that went flat. Good Luck buying a cheap tire, may throw off how your coupe handles. Be careful!

Thanks everyone for their input, It is very much appreciated.

Got the new tire Installed today, it was a Hankook Ventus V4 H105 (225/45/18).

Couldn't rotate the tires because the rear were 245/45/18 as stated by many here on this forum.

They did a wheel alignment, balancing, etc.

---

I have now noticed everytime that I would make a little left turn, the wheel on the left (one that was replaced) would make a sqeeking sound...any idea why? (it is off and on, sometimes it will make the sound)

May be slipping on painted lines. Or its because they aren't broken in yet. Tires usually don't get their best grip until after about 500 miles.
