Is it normal to not burn oil? I guess it depends on how shitty of a car you have. If you have a G, I think it is pretty normal not to burn oil.

I think you're worried that you should burn some oil, and I believe you do. Otherwise the engine would develope no compression, (hence no power), and the cylinder walls would quickly score and be ruined by the rings.
The oil is there and burned , but in such small quatities, it won't show on the dipstick....
I've had 3 VQ engines, and none have consumed oil (excessively) between oil changes and I've never had to add oil between oil changes. (3500-4000 miles).
