Hey there..I have an 06 G35 coupe with a little over 34K miles...for about two months now, I have had this annoying creaking sound coming from what appears to be the front of the car..everytime I go over a bump, slow down at a red light or turn sharply to the left or right, it creaks (sounds like squeaky springs)...also, when I turn, the car clunks loudly, but that doesn;t happen all the time (and usually only when I turn to the left)...help! I'm taking my car in for service next week and I'd like to know exactly what to tell them, since the last time I was there for an oil change and asked them why the car was squeaking like that, no one seemed to know the answer...thanks!

 

Just tell them what you told us, my 06 is quiet as kept! You might just need your chassis lubed up as well as other moving parts! Let us know what they say! Are you going to the dealer?

 

Yes..next Friday...I told them about the creaks and such last time I was there (for the 30K service) and they had no idea what was causing the noises...but reading other responses here makes me wonder if they were playing dumb..

 

They were playing dumb, its a common occurance with our cars! i found that majority of my noise came from loose **** in the door pockets and the little glove box (cds, keys, change) check those areas.
