Scared like I have never been scared before

I recently had a Turbo installed along with some other work and I spent a pretty penny to do it.

Now everything has been going fine for the most part until tonight. I was coming home from friends, got off the highway and came to a red light. While at the red light my car is suddenly engulfed in smoke… not a little bit of smoke but a ton of smoke.

Weird thing was it started from behind my car, like my exhaust was billowing smoke… so I’m starting to freak out. I take a look at the temp gauge but everything looks fine. I cannot see anything in rear view mirror or out the side of my car except smoke.

I see the light turn green, but no way I’m moving. No real traffic so I shut it down… I hear some guy yelling and swearing at me from behind my car… basically wanting me to get out of the way. I’m getting kinda pissed off at this point. I hear his engine rev and he goes around me in an S-10 truck that’s just pouring smoke out of every orifice it has. I have never seen anything like it.

Needless to say I felt instant relief when I realized it wasn't my car… bummer for him but I can live with that. Not sure I have ever had that kind of sinking feeling before.

Whew!!!

Seemed like a long time, but probably less than a minute. I was in panic mode so not really sure.
