how much for a 2003?

Hey guys, unfortunately I totaled my BabyG. it's an 03 coupe, with 18', brembos, navi all stock... I had about 55,000 miles on her. My question is, how much should the insurance give me for her? They're offering $15,500 it seems a little low to me, but maybe I'm just not looking at it objectively since it was my baby.

That's actually a good number for your car. I'm surprised they aren't offering you a few grand less...

I'd suggest trying to acquire some of the part off the totaled car before you let it slip away. Get the brembo's, wheels, maybe stock navi, aftermarket parts. Get the check and then strip her before you let the insurance company do what they do.

It could technically become insurance fraud, but not if you call them up and tell them you had some aftermarket parts on the car that you want to get off before anything... Unless you have your aftermarket parts insured as well.

Wow....I totalled my 04 "Touring" Z with 113000 miles on it and I got $15000 for it.

Cant believe a G with half the mileage would get the same amount

well they see the market price of the 03, they are running 13-16K used in those specs...
unfortunately the g37 came out plus its 6yrs old, plus the economy..so it factors out...
i would try to get stock parts, replace it if u can, take ur aftermarket stuff off...

or talk to insurance about getting the car back to take the parts off
if u didnt insure your aftermarket parts, they might not care..because you weren't paying premium on it....

i think 15.5k is decent for the year..plus its manual..
if you try to sell it private, thats about the price ur gonna get...

I just bought an 04 coupe for less than that from a dealership. IMO that's a pretty decent price from an insurance company. Try to get more if you feel it necessary, but all they have to do is show you the market and it'll prove their price isn't bad at all.

Wow, you got a pretty good deal IMO especially from a dealer. How many miles tho? I thought brembo/navi G's with my miles were selling at around 18 000 but it's probably has dropped because of the economy.

Mine has about 10,000 more miles than yours does, and no brembo/navi though. Still though from an insurance company, $15,500 is pretty decent. I know there is an 03 in my area without brembo/navi with under 60,000 miles for $15,800 from a used car lot. Definitely try to get all you can out of them, but they're in the ballpark.
