Rims, exhaust, and air intake for '06 g35 coupe

Hi guys,
I planned on purchasing an exhaust system, air intake and a set of rims for my G35, Automatic
Just wondering which one is a good choice-I don't plan on adding turbo or superchargers yet, plus I'm looking for a system that doesn't sound like a ricers-loud and not go fast at all, i'd rather have something that sounds nice without annoying others-specially cops. I've looked up a couple sites and seeking ideas from friends. And here are the final:
-Indivia G200 full system
-HKS hi-flow full system
-Stillen hi-flow air intake
-Vertini 19" Hennessy 19x8.5F, 19x9.5R-my friend recommended I run 235/40/19 front and 255/40/19 rear. Is this a good choice for the car? If you could, post some pictures of yours I would very appreciate it.
Thank you very much.

HKS will look and sound the best, but you will pay more. With the intake, go with a z-tube and Jwt popcharger.

I have the nismo catback exhaust with testpipes (much louder than just nismo) and I love it.
I think the jwt is just all sound. their 'heat shield' is a joke.
I'd do z-tube with a k&n drop in or with a stillen airbox and call it a day.

Also rims thats too complicated for me, I searched for nearly 2 years for my perfect wheels before I even got my car..

yeah everything really all depends on you, what sound preference you like and all that, and rims are just to complicated to decide so much variety out there. but as everyone says with the intake just go ztube with knn drop in.

Donger, "Welcome to Driver!" I've been thru several exhaust systems and love my HKS system because of sound and quality. With your rim size I'd recommend 245/35F and 275/35R that's what I'm using. Intakes, get a Z-Tube (ebay) and a K&N drop in filter. (most auto parts stores) Pic, check out the pic on my garage. Good Luck and Enjoy!

Thank you guys

The information you guys gave me was very detailed.
I've just found out that since I wanted a deeper tone exhaust, The Greddy Evo 2 full system is the best choice-since money is not really a problem at all, if the HKS has a better deeper tone than the Evo 2 then I would get the HKS.
About the intake, I think I'm gonna go with the Injen short ram air.
Since everyone has theirs with Volks, I've decided to go with Work Rezax Universal 19x8.5F and 19x9.5R silver with crome lips-now another question-I only want a maximum of 2-inch lips in the rear-what would be the offset for that? Because I know that +12 rear is very big.
Thank you for all of your info and answers.

I agree with Frankie. Unless you want to sacrifice power for sound, a pop charger or short ram intake is not a good idea. They induce too much heat into the intake, thereby causing a power loss.

Stay with the stock box and a drop-in filter, look for the 05-06 revup airbox. You won't be sorry you did.

Correct ^^^ that's called "Heat Soak" and eats power like crazy. The Z-Tube you want is made of plastic composite and doesn't retain heat! The Gready exhaust isn't in the same league with HKS....High School vs Major Legue, kinda like Borla junk!

No....not if you're referring to Stillens CAI which is all plastic composite with the exception of the giant K&N filter. If the intake has metal tubes and gets it's air from under the bumper those tubes still heat up. And if it's a pop up charger getting it air from an exposed filter....Ouch!! I'm considering buying a Fuji intake just for winter wear, all polished and pretty.

Ouch! Looks like I need a new setup. Ztube and k&n sounds good for now. Does the 07 6mt come with the revup airbox since its a revup engine? (I probably just answered my own question)

had the ztube and K&N drop-in. Just switched to JWT Pop w/ the ztube. Sounds better. Can't really say about performance. HP really doesn't matter since we don't have a track in the Aloha State an I'm not about to do anything as stupid as street race... So long as I don't feel a noticeable drop in HP or throttle response it's good. The pop does sound good and from what I can gather from all the intake discussions on the forum, there really isn't a whole lot o dif from intake to intake. Mine cost $90 used, courtesies of Blue Dream, and $75 for the polished ztube vs. $400+ for HKS for, what, a few tenths of a HP or maybe 1HP more than my current set up? Nah... I'll go frugal...
As far as best performance combo... a lot of the serious tuner type people seem to like the revup box w/ a K&N drop-in and ztube. the sound seems pretty close to stock.
Good luck with your set up!
