You have to re-program for the new sensor.

I have different sensors on my summer and winter wheels and right now the dealer needs to reset it for me. Don't mean to thread jack, but is there any way that we can do this ourselves and save some cash?

You could go to the dealer and pay ~$165 PER Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor (~$118 through Grubbs Infiniti parts) or you can go here:
http://www.revolutionsupply.com/(S(2.../AppGuide.aspx Revolutions Supply manfactures the TPMS for Nissan and Infiniti. You can get either the OEM for $89, the generic [non-branded] one for $65 or the aftermarket [Orange Electronics] for $36. Oh yeah, the aftermarket also includes everything in the $4 Service Kit that you would also need to purchase if you go with the OEM or the generic OEM version too. I bought 4 of the Orange Electronics ones, however, 2 came defective, so they are being swapped out.
