weird, but I just had clear bra placed on the front fascia, mirrors, spalsh guards, a- pillar, roof line before the sunroof, and inside the door handle area. Noticed clear bra was already applied on the area in front of the rear wheels and on the top of the rocker panels.

 

yea.. they do that to prevent rock chips during shipping.. I took mine off because when it gets dirty you can see the outline of the bra..

 

Considering the treatment on my rocker panels is on the inside of the door, I don't think they did it for rock chips on shipping.

 

the ones they put on the door sills are to protect from scuffs from your shoes. That was a great idea for them to do that. In my old car the paint always would get scuffed up over there.
