every so often im on my brakes ill hear a scraping noise... just started happening i have a 2005 coupe with 45k, anyone else have this problem?

 

Did you check the wear on your pads??? You might need to get your rotors resurfaced...

my tires were the cause of the scraping sound i heard around 20-30mph while braking. they were feathered like a ****...got new tires and now my ride is a quiet as can be.

Yeah I was in the same exact boat as you. I had an intense scraping noise coming from my right rear. It wasn't your typical high ptch squeal, it was like a buzzsaw on wood. Changed pads today and everything was perfect and silent.

 

yup... really sucks wen your on a date and you pull into somewhere and it just starts scrapin loud as ever especially in a g35 =P
