Motordyne 5/16 Spacer differences

I'm close to purchasing a Motordyne 5/16 spacer, but I see there is a basic, iso-thermal, and copper iso-thermal.

I was almost going to purchase the basic until I noticed the other two. Is there any big benefit to paying a bit more and getting the iso-thermal/copper iso-thermal?

I love the suppourt here.

Basically, the different materials used to create the spacers are different. The ability between the three types of material used gauge how efficiently it rid's of heat soak. The better the material dissapates heat, the better your car performs.

For future refference, try using the search tool. It may take some time, but its helpful when trying to learn about these things.

I went with the 5/16 spacer with no iso thermal parts, on the rec. of a reputable tuner around here. you should just save your money, and btw I saw a couple of those floating around used.

why not go 1/2"?

Increase the flow of air to the front 2 cylinders even more and get a nice growl w/ it as well..

MotorDyne's Spacers....!

I've been running (using) the 1/2" spacer ISO Copper for over 2+ years and love it, the downside is you can't use your engine cover. Doesn't MD also make a larger (5/8") spacer, had I know it existed I would have gone for "Bigger" HAHA That's big enough to polish from what I saw....

it seems the most streetable gains are from the 5/16 while the bigger ones are more for peak power gains, and more bragging rights on the dyno.

^^^^+1 I spoke with the guy tony from motordyne and he told me the same thing, the spacer and the mrev2 together increase mid range torque and power under the curve.

What's better than more useable power, that's like more sex....you can't beat that! (within reason)
