Maybe its karma but ive been getting dicked around by these guys selling products on the side.... Eric and now Mike.

at the same time i made my purchase with Eric I purchased a set of 06 Projectors with some LEDs, painted black, and Projector Lenses in the turn signal from IRON-MIKE on 4/09/09. He offered to CUSTOM MAKE them for $500 from a used set he had. sweet!! what a deal, RIGHT??? :icon30: i paid $500 with my Credit Card and added $50 with my debit card a few days later for some 6000k bulbs he had lying around to be put in.

I told him to take his time cus i didnt want to rush a custom job. asked for updates and to be honest he was good at responding... over a month later he tells me they are ready (not a prob btw). SHIPPED 5/20/09

Contacted Mike and requested a Total Refund on 6/2/09. He was very understanding and said i would receive my refund of $550 in "1 to 2 weeks MAX". he give me the runaround for 3 weeks and i contacted him with this... https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ferrerid=13080

Ive seen some of his work and it looks amazing. this thread wasnt to disprove some of the headlights hes made. there are some sweet projectors out there.... this is just my rant about the customer service i received from him. Mike states all that damage was from shipping. hmm...... you tell me..

i received my $500 from my CREDIT CARD Co. on 7/9/09 after initially paying 3 months prior and getting the runaround for a refund for 5weeks. i contacted my bank for the remaining $50 and apparently they cannot do any reversals after 45 days.

so im out $50 cus this douche wont give me my money back. at this point it's not even about the money anymore. its the principal. im still debating on filing a complaint with Internet CrimeComplaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx. they are affiliated with the FBI.

i was really hoping it didnt have to come to this as i like the work that was done to my lights, but the phrase "attention to detail" just comes to mind when you see something like smudges left before resealing or one city light working and not the other.

jake is a homie though so i have to come out with it and share the experience. as far as customer service iron-mike did keep in good contact with me and did a partial refund so i dont know why he cant do a full one for jake but some vendors here are starting to get out of hand. (i too am waiting for PAID parts/my money back from klumzyee)

DAMN. so the city light on driver side is dead and the LEDs around the projectors arent matching. also, is the drivers side clearance strip brighter or is that just due to light exposure?

welll you should switch out those city lights anyways....... but the LEDs........ :CLAP: that would bother me too.

Eric and Iron Mike have always been talented innovative members here on Driver, before someone gets a rope I'd like to hear from them, and there
side of this rage. About the time everyone got their Fed. refund checks Eric
was buried with members wanting his replica parts. If you're in such a hurry
maybe you should buy the authentic (expensive) parts....and quit whining.

I can't speak for Iron Mike, but at least in Eric's case the time for explanation has been long past due. There are multiple members that have either received faulty parts, mismatched parts, or no parts at all. None of them have been able to contact Eric, nor has he even made a single effort to help. I can't really see how you can put blame on members being in a hurry to get their parts, or 'whining' about losing upwards of $1000 for a full kit with nothing to show for, and no way to contact a vendor who has basically taken the money and ran with it.

At this point he is pretty much a thief; I did business with him 3+ years ago when he was first starting to put out his kits, I'm sad that it had to end this way for what was once THE guy to get your kits from.
