Just wondering if the 06-07 OEM Style spoilers will fit on to my 04 G35 coupe with out having to swap trunks? I think they look way better than the other ones.

do you know if the 03 trunk will fit the 07?

 

the trunk lid for 03-07 is the same from what i seen,
i have seen 3 07 spoilers on an 04 and 05 g35 coupe,
they fit exactly but here's the problem, the drilling holes do not match ie 03 to 05 are have premade holes under the lid of trunk for 03-05 pattern, when you use different drill patterns, you have to drill 5 new holes and then find a way to cover them up otherwise when you pop the trunk they will be there,
it's easy really, pm me and i can snap some pics for ya,
you have to be good with your hands for the new hole patterns otherwise you drill extra holes, not cosmetically nice

all 03-07 trunks are the same.

 

fwiw I did this on my car and while spoiler fits, it's smaller than the stock 03 and thus you could see the factory glue because it wouldn't cover all of it. I ended up getting my truck repainted.

Yeah, to get the original glue off ( which was so hard to get off that it would peel the paint along with it ).

 

You should be ok. I bought an 07 coupe new and they told me I could have either the old or new spoiler installed.

Is this the same for sedans? Will 07 lip fit on 05 sedan?

 

Probably not considering an 07 sedan is the second generation G35 with a whole different front end.

 

I thought maybe it was just drilling bolt holes.
