Is this a good deal?

Hi All,

I am about to purchase new rims for my 07 OB Coupe..

The store is selling these ADR 97's (20") for $1450(cdn) new with rubber. However they are not staggered, but he says he can throw in some spacers and get a wider sized tire (245) to make it look half decent.

Is this a good deal? I'm driving down to the store today i just want the g35 community to give me a heads up!

PS. as you can see below.. i badly need some bigger wheels!

thanks all

Alot of people are gonna give you crap about getting ADRs.

If that's your budget (like me), they are good wheels at an excellent price, being CDN.

You can snag my wheels off ebay for 599. I found them on buy it now or best offer for 425 shipped. Crazy. 19x8.5F +20, 19x9,5R +25. Search the threads i've started recently for pics after my drop.

They might actually break in half. If you have any pot holes in your area you should beware of cheap wheels. There are a few threads going on right now about how some of these cheaper wheels have totally failed and broken into pieces. Just make sure you do some research about what you're buying and what kind of quality you are getting.

Also, it's worth it, IMO, to put down a few hundred dollars extra and buy some great looking, high quality wheels. Or do what I'm doing, just wait it out and roll on stockies until you can afford something dope.

Might be a better option to buy some 18" oem wheels and have them painted or something with spacers. Or buy some Rotas that are actually a fairly decent wheel.
