Can anyone here recommend a bay area body shop for good custom bodywork? Please speak from personal experience.I am looking to put on the impul kit for the sedan. Would like to get a good value albeit not some MAACO crap. Ideally the place has dealt with G35s as I hear familiarity can often drive labor times down. Thanks.

This question is a slam dunk. Haws Import Auto Body on 1812 Arnold Industrial Pl in Concord. (925) 676-1944. They work exclusively on luxury cars including a ton of G35s. They worked on my car which suffered rear quarter panel and bumper damage.

I got the car back and could not tell no matter how much I tried that the car had been repainted or repaired. The quality of work was so much better than any other body shop I'd ever gone too. In the lot, you'll see only BMW, Mercedes, Infiniti, and Lexus cause thats all they work on.

Since this incident a few months ago, I have moved to San Diego, but if my car ever needs body work again, I will drive up and take it there. You will not be sorry I swear.

 

city body in san jose.. they painted my rx-7 and it was awesome work.. they work on high end cars mostly but you have to pay a heavy price.. it's negotiable though.. you definitely get quality work

I went to a shop in milpitas on minnis circle and they do poor work.. your paint will either chip off or look like an orange peel

I've used Y&S in San Pedro, on Gaffey street they are authorized by BMW, Jag, Mercedes. Had my benz worked on there twice and the G once, they do excellent work.
