can anyone give me a quick run down on how you paint rims? im trying to paint the ones on mine black. so far all i know is that i have to put paint thinner on it, then sand it, then primer, paint, and then clear coat but how long should it dry for?

Wet sand it really well, 3-4 primer , 3-4 paint , 2-4 clear.

I think painting rims don't last that long. i rather powder coat them IMHO

thx but how long should they sit for? ive heard everything from 5 hours to 24 hours

i would let them sit for atleast 2 days to be super safe. dont wanna rush it
