04 6MT here. i've heard about this issue w/ others, im not sure if i have the same problem. my car occasionally won't start, sometimes it takes a few tries and sometimes a lot. and when it does start, the starter would turn over good and hard. so i think it's not the battery, it's less than yr anyway.
anyone? and how did you guys resolve it. my warranty is over so im hoping this can be a DIY fix if it's really that. thanks.

This happened to me also. It is a simple replacement. Just go to dealer and pick up a clutch interlock switch. Behind the clutch pedal you will see the assembly, loosen the lock nut and remove the wire. Then replace with the new one and make sure it is adjusted to the right height so the clutch pedal makes contact. The whole process took me about 3 min total. This link will show you the picture of the interlock switch. http://my350z.com/forum/engine-drive...lutch-kit.html. The best picture is towards the bottom of the page. The black piece is the part you will be replacing. Hope this helps.

Yeah sometimes my car does the same thing and it takes me a few tries before it fires right up. I'm going to check that clutch interlock switch. Thanks KORRUPT.

dont buy a new switch just simply turn the switch 180 degrees and retighten the nut.. the clutch pushes it down and in rather then perfectly in on a straight line..... at least for me this worked
