I've been looking if only to dissuade you from doing it, but there is a black G37 rollin around with red emblems on the forum somewhere, thankfully I haven't re-located it yet

If he did red emblems with black wheels with a red TA strip. It would look awesome.

Red and black are two colours that CAN NOT look bad together.

If he did it, I will put money on the amount of compliments he gets from it. Just cause the majority of the guys on the board don't like it, doesn't mean the average person won't.

Especially since you can't find pictures of it, if you can find pictures do it.

 

Lol... the mere fact that pictures cant be found should be indicative of it being a bad idea. No ones done it for a reason. Now, im not saying red and black dont look good together. Those 360 forged wheels with the red and black on them looks tit hot. And black wheels with the red stripe look d@mn hot too. What im sayin, and what everyone else is saying, is red emblems will look gaudy, cheap, and out of place on the G.

Someone photochop it! If it does end up looking good, which I dont think it will, I'll gladly say I was wrong.

post a picture of your ride with the emblems showing and let someone photoshop them red ..

thats probably the only way youl get an idea of what it would look like ..

 

personally i think it wouldn't look that bad. before u read it all.

if u actually put money into the car, and go ALL red and black. like Vrod-mike and suede your seats red and black, red stiching on shift ****, LR g35, red ta stripes, itll look clean! on being different

but yeah. just dont stick a red emblem on there and say "im done"

I know the OP doesn't have a LR G but, I do and no one seemed to comment on my idea of having a LR coupe, black grill with a color matched LR Fuji emblem. It's the only chrome that can be seen anywhere, except the exhaust tips.... and I think having black exhaust tips just wouldn't look right at all haha.

 

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it being the only chrome on your car.

I have a LR G also () and my grill is also blacked out and I left the emblem chrome.

However, I left rings of chrome on my headlight projectors-- I am assuming you completely blacked yours out?

even if yours are all blacked out, i'd still urge you to keep the chrome. it looks good! If you want to do something subtle, take the emblem off, tape it off, and paint the sides of it black, so that you don't see the chrome in between the slits on your black grill. it will look even better that way!
