Why is the coupe more expensive than the Sedan?
I noticed across the board the Coupe is noticeably more expensive. Why is that? Is it the looks? Or something else I'm missing.
I found a 2004 G35 Coupe with 48k miles on it, no accidents for 19.5k. I figure I can talk them down to around 17k or so hopefully.
The other alternative is a 2004 G35 Sedan with 33k miles on it, no accidents for 18k. I figure I can talk them down to around 16k.
The sedan has less miles and is a little bit cheaper, but I love the look of the coupe. Other than the aesthetics, is there any difference between the two?

Are you guys serious? Okay, I had a G35x for my loaner car while my G coupe was in the shop installing a new engine. Let me say this. The suspension is wayyyyyy to bouncy. I almost rolled it going around a turn on an overpass doing about 80. Which my G would never do at 100. Another thing is how bulky it is. I know our Coupes are no Civics but the X was way too big, and it made me feel like a grandfather driving it. (I do not know this) Does Infiniti even offer the X as a manual car? Im just saying its still more than looks. Just my 2 cents.

the coupes simply looks sexier...period. As with any other car, you pay more to look good.
the sedan's aggressive wheel fitment is the coupe's "normal" offsets,
not to mention the wide stance and the fat rear. Basically all the features of being a coupe.
All the "reasonable" reasons to get the sedan is the same reasons I've heard from my great grandfather....it's AWD, it has more passenger room, more trunk space, and my dentures looks better with it and it'll be the hottest car at bingo world.

The coupe is a sporty car without being a sports car. The sedan is well, a four-door car plain and simple. Even pretty basic coupe models are way portier than a modded sedan wiil ever be. They serve different purposes entirely. My next car will be a 2K7 G sedan, the S model. That will be in addition to my coupe when my Maxima dies, not to replace it.
