I finally got my 2003 dream car, I wanted to buy this car in 2003 and they would not take less then MSRP for it so I walked. Good thing cause I got layed off like 2 months later.

Well I just finally got it, But I had a weird occurrence today on my way home from buying it and i go under a overpass and all my cabin lights go out completely but the car was still running and the ac was still working also. After about 5 seconds i comes back on and has not done it since. Am I looking at a major electrical problem here? It defiantly got me worried.

as for the trouble. it does sound like and electrical problem but i am not to sure what it can be. hope you find out soon.

 

Did your auto lights come on under the overpass causing your gash lights to dim (also check the adjustment on them) and then when you came out of the overpass they shut off causing your lights to come back on???

 

yeah this has happened to me.. I think what happened was when you went under the over pass your automatic lights were on and they dim when they kick on.. when you came out lights turned off and your interior lights became back to bright.. no worries

 

Yup, I think that is what it was. My friend has a Q56 and told me about that, I been driving a 90 integra for the last 18 years, not used to all these fancy electronics. Thanks for the insight.
