Re: Possible Buyer
I like to think that the G's have a timeless style. I think of it as the sort of style that keeps people attracted to the Supra from the early 90's.
The tonal exhaust is intoxicating and my Brembo's have probably saved me a couple of times.
The only problems I have had were with the power windows and the quality of service from my dealership.

Re: Possible Buyer
My advice, just buy it, you won't regret it! I absolutely love it and would buy another in a heartbeat.......from a different dealer. Do your homework in regards to the dealers in your area. I am kicking myself in the *** for choosing the one I did! Every car, no matter what make will have its problems and issues. The ones that come up the most for G's are pretty much superficial (grease on drivers side window, soft paint - i would reco a clear bra, a few people have had window motor trouble but I believe Infiniti is fixing that by choosing a different parts manufacturer, and loosening axles). Of course some peeps have no problems, some have a few. I had the loosening axles (axles were replaced) & the grease streak on the window....self remedy-Glass Cleaner & lastly, I had a defectove pressure plate break apart. It sounds like alot but if I had to do it all over, I would!!! The car is amazing!! Although my payments are fairly steep, it's cheaper than a shrink!!! It always puts a smile on my face when I drive it!

Re: Possible Buyer
bottom line, it's a great car. however, if you are serious about buying one, tell dealer you will be spending 30k+ and feel you need more than 5 min

Re: Possible Buyer
First off, you will love the coupe and lots of good luck. I have had mine for over a year and not only do I still receive compliments and people coming up out of nowhere to talk to me about it, but I also still love looking at the car and driving it. Usually I get bored with things fast, but this car still gets me excited!
Anyway, at about 3K I heard a clicking noise when starting to go in reverse or first gear. It would be a quick rat...tat.tat. Then I wouldn't hear anything. They tightened them and all was fine until 11K where they just replaced the axles.
