the silver trimming on the g35 is horendous. it looks so damn cheap.

From what I was told by my Salesperson, the G35's willow colored ceiling is that color to provide an illusion of spaciousness. I think he's full of isht.

I was just looking to get rid of all the black plastic and then have the ceiling upholstered with black fabric. I saw pictures of a g35 with a custom gucci fabric interior, I was quoted by a guy in CA that to do it with black gucci would be $1500. I don't think I'd pay for it, but it did look really nice.

Yeah, I'm almost glad I got a willow interior now. I had a loaner from the dealer last week with the graphite/willow combination and I couldn't get over how hideous it looked. I could have sworn the graphite 03s were all graphite, all around (?).

The lighter upper color in the interior helps to keep the interior from getting as hot as it would if the interior were all black. Spaciness does sound resonable IMO and also it helps to lighten up the inside of the car.

 

I am getting quotes for replacing the door inserts (front/rear), center console and roof with ash color leather. Cover the dash and top of the doors with smooth black leather. I don't know about a completely black interior, it would feel claustraphobic in there.

I was also thinking about getting that done. I assumed that the whole interior would be black, but I guess I should have taken a closer look when I bought my car.

Could someone tell me how much this would cost to get the willow parts replaced wit black?
