The passenger seat on my coupe won't move and it's all the way back. I thought of taking the seat out and working on it but I don't have access to the rear bolts because the seat is on top of them. I removed the motor ( which works once removed from the assembly ) by taking the front cover off and it still won't budge.
What can I do?

I had the same issue but mine was stuck all the way forward. I was so pissed because I had lunch and purchase sweet tea ($1) which tipped over and got into the seat switch, which only went downhill from there because I couldn't remove the front bolts. Well anyways I have a friend who's a electrical engineer; he came over and had a great idea, tapping the motor connectors with another 12 volt source so the seat moves the other direction since the switch was out. After he figured -12v and +12v we were in business. Took apart the switch (it had sugar crust all over it) and washed everything and wipe the chip w/ rubbing alcohol assembled and voila! Works perfectly now. I called Grubbs Infiniti before the project, they quoted me 220 for the switch, I promise after looking at the small *** chip and the relay, it is definitely not worth that much. Also quoted me labor at another 300 dollars. Hopefully that helps
Will the problem in my seat is not the motor nor the switch...it seems that the rails are stuck ( maybe a penny stuck or something ) and I can't get to it because the seat is so close to the floorand the rear seats are almost touching the front seat cause it's pushed so far back. I haven't messed with it again since I opened this topic but it I'll get at it soon.
