Ok first I KNOW how to do this stuff

Oem bumper $440+20% mark up =$528, splash gards $190+20% =$228, ten hours to mould them on 10 x $45 hour =$450, 4 hours to paint the bumper $67 x 4 = $268 now add $300 for 6oz of paint, blend both querter panels 4 x $67 = $268, 2 hours to put the bumper on 2 x $45 = $90, one hour to put tail lights back in $45, two hours to take off side skirts 2 x $45 = $90, three hours to pull out quarter glass 3 x $45 = $135, four hours to sand and buff painted panels 4 x $45 = $180, one hours to mask the car for over spray $45, rental car for three days 3 x $50 = $150, "diminished value" $1,500 If I went to trade my car in it would be worth less because it was hit, that is not my falt so by law they have to pay the difference. They dont tell people that because they dont wnat you to know, but im not a newb in the paint world

Should I keep going? lol

Thats the right way you have to look at it. It does not matter if its a 85 sentra or a lambo, they need to make it back to the way it was before the crash, thats the LAW
I delt with this meany times before. I did a custom job on an eclipes couple years ago and a F350 ran over his front end, cf hood, HID's, and the hole car was moulded so I call the insuranse and gave them a bill for 14k, they lol and said no way we would rater total the car. I siad you can only do that if you can find the SAME car. They came down and I had the lawyer right next to me...... five minutes later they said sign here
I like how you handled this incident. When my wife's Vette was hit with similar damage our body shop replaced the bumper/paint and had it for 10 days + the rental car. All that showed was cracked paint, but they made it look like new....
I had all the information and just gave it to our insurance company to let them handle it, that is what we pay them for.

Insurance companies = thieves and low-ballers. Had to stand my ground on a similar situation awhile back with mine. Glad to hear they finally saw it your way and with a blank check, love that part. And a note left? Very lucky these days to have gotten that.

When my car got hit (less than 36 hours after I bought it). The back end was hit pretty good (driver side rear), it ended up costing the insurance company $21K. Because my car was brand new (and I don't mean because I just bought it) it took a three months to get parts and get the car fixed. The insurance company ended up paying about $11K to fix the car, $3K in rental charges, and $7K in diminished value. And it was just a rear quarter panel and the back bumper where the damage was mostly.

misunderstood you.
