Angry greddy type-s coilover hits rear work wheel

problem, greddy type-s coilovers, rear shocks, the adjusters hit the inside bead lip on my work meisters 19x11 +27 mm offset,I am not going to do spacers because just no and I like my 285's.I was thinking that I would just tig weld the hole in the shock mount( it threads off) and add some extra material to the side and redrill the holes 4-5mm over from the old holes.the spring is in the stock location so no issues there it is just the shock.there is enough room behind the shock to the wheelwell to push it back 4-5mm and that will give me the extra clearance i need.adjusting the camber will not do it, so i think this is my only option.

any advice from all would be appreciated

see pic for rear shock mount(shock are far right)

if vivid racing is unhappy with using this pic for demo purposes please let me know and I will take it down, sorry for not asking

Thanks Jeff
i will post rear pics tomorrow as I am done for today with the car.

Have you tried spacers? Not exactly sure what your talking about without seeing a pic (noob status to the fullest I am) But I know with my srt-4 with wider rims some may need spacers for extra clearance....

it's not that I am against them I just want to tuck some tire and the roads here in edmonton alberta canada suck ***( that is being polite)I have rolled the fenders and with a 285 invo it is really close as it is and I am only down 3/4 inch for now.I may try the spacer thing but I am leaning toward the modified mount.
thanks

^Do you have camber arms? im not sure how much your fender is rolled but with that offset and a good roll you shouldn't be THAT close even with a 285. If you have camber arms just adjust the camber a lol more positive.
