What should i do about my wheels?

I just got these wheel about a month ago. They are 19 inch all the way around and the car is lowered using tien 350Z (convertible) h techs. I think the fronts look good, but the back wheels look too small to me? if i go to 20 inches in the back will that just raise the car another inch in the rear?

save for coilovers, doesnt matter if you put 20s in the rear the gap will still be there.

I think what you're seeing is that the rear doesn't have enough offset. If you go with the 20" you should be using 275/30X19 rubber which will come close to the OEM diameter. Using 20" will change how your coupe drives and you'll need to be aware of small chuck holes that will destroy those rims. Stay with what you have or get the same rims out back that have big azz lips....that will help.

why did you go with convertible h techs? why not g h techs that lower the car all the way around? the back doesn't look lowered at all. it actually looks raised up. go for a set of springs and the car will look fine.

Please inform us what size rubber you are running on the fronts and the rears. It may just be me, but it looks like your running your rears on your front and your fronts on your rear....

no i have 245 all around. So you think if i just get g35 h techs for the back it will lower the rear end to match the front? or will it be too low and i would need to swap all four springs?

yea they are TSW, how much will the s-techs lower rear end? could i get away with installing s-techs on the rear and leaving the front alone? the drop in the front is perfect for me, I just think that the rear wheel looks way too small and i was wondering if reducing the gap in the rear would equal things out?

lowering the back will make the gap smaller and make the wheel look bigger by filling the wheel well. go for a set of g h techs. they lower the front the same as you have it now and the rear about the same as the front.

funny you say that, before i did a ricky bobby on i-5 i had tenzo type m's and they did look good. when the car was being repaired the dealership called and tenzo said they had discontinued the type m's with the machined face? i like the wheels that i have now, i just want that gap to go away. like speedracerg35 said the reduced gap will make the wheel look bigger.

that being said all i need then is a set of g35 h or s techs to match the front spacing?

with teins the front is usually a lil bit lower than the rear..

try the springmount mod and that will lower a lil bit more and hopefully takes care of the gap

Your ride looks good, but that gap in the back is definitely make the wheels seem smaller. Hopefully the mod will help with that, keep us posted!
