1st night with my G35, and it doesn't fire up!

DragonG,
It is quite a switch. I loved my police interceptor crown victoria, and I loved my Lincolns. I figured it was time for a change, and this car is going to make my wallet alot heavier, since I won't be feeding a big-assed V8 anymore. I was probably getting under 12 MPG with those two cars.
Its quite an experience today, driving in rush hour traffic here in Toronto. Normally, to get in a lane, I just sort of lean my car towards a lane I want to enter, put my turn signal on, and people move for me, maybe out of fear, because I know I let people in Suburbans and Expeditions in a lot easier than a Civic. Today in the G Coupe, I had to work hard to merge! I guess the car is so small, you have to work a little harder to get into a lane.

I do agree with you and CKwik about making small mistakes working under the hood. I sell construction systems and solutions, and I make mistakes sometimes with the small things. It was just a pain in the ***. I mean, its not too big of a deal, but I know if it happened to my girlfriend, and let's say she took it the first night out an hour away from home and didn't start at 2 am in the morning, it would be more of a problem.
It doesn't give the customer a lot of confidence in the realibility of his/her new car when things go wrong the first night.

I only signal at the last minute now and signal quick then switch. People are a$$ clowns and won't let you in. Since you now have an agile sports car (or luxury tourer), transitions into lanes will become MUCH easier when you get used to the dynamics. I came from a Maxima...now I get home 10 minutes earlier due to the agility and speed of the G! =)
