Angry Worried about my G

hey guys i hope maybe some of you can help clear some things up for me.
i have a AT 2004 g35 coupe and i just hit 100,000 miles.
when i was driving today i was in drive, and the light turned green i went to gas it and it wouldnt go. My engine light came on, the vdc turned off and the word "slip" showed up. i pulled off to the side and turned off my g, when i turned it back on it worked but then when i was driving on the freeway the same thing happened so i pulled off to the side, turned off my g and then i drove home.
i was reading and someone said something about "limp mode"
but my car was accelerating past 5 miles an hour so im not sure.
help plz

i pressed on the gas to pass someone i didnt get no reponse.
so i then pulled on the side shut my car off then turned it back on

replace your computer in the car? are you serious? I had the exact same problem as OP and the throttle body did the trick. He's out of warranty so how bout we go with the process of elimination.

I hope this "computer" problem was under warranty for you. I wouldn't want to know what it cost you to have the "computer" changed out.

Refurbished throttle body -- $100-150

Gas pedal assembly(may be the case as well) -- $150-200

Being told your "computer" was replaced -- $1000-1500 est?

Knowing your "computer" is still the same one that was in it -- priceless

wtf is that... people that do that are lame. anyways back to my point i had the same exact thing i was leaving the gym and i turned it on everything sounded normal when i went to press on the gas nothing happpened it went to about 2k rpms no matter what gear i was in. i looked down and realized that it said "slip" and that vdc was turned off and i could not turn it on or off. eventually i got it towed to a infiniti dealership where it took them a week to tell me that OMFG MY ECU HAD TO BE REPLACED!!!! <<<< crazy guy here. yes i thought it was either the ecu or the throttle body but if you look at the other symptoms of the buttons not working correctly and it saying slip.. when it is clearing not raining then you will come to find out that it is a ECU problem. WINNAR

ooooohhhh ECU

I get it now. I thought you were talking about a laptop or something.

Mine had all the same symptoms and it was the throttle body.

once again, process of elimination is the only way to go without a warranty.

Go minor and progress from there.

Also, just because they're a dealer, doesnt make them smart. I have a problem with my car not tracking straight under load. The holier than thou infiniti dealership told me that I needed new tires and an alignment. New tires and alignment was done the week prior.

I asked them to look at the compression rods and rear diff bushing to see if there was anything wrong.

Told me nothing was wrong.

Hmmmm...

They're being replaced now due to premature wear....by the dealer....because I had to show the retards that work there what I was talking about.

Dealership service is never correct
