Made a leather trunk pull

It's fine that you don't like it, however it's not a PITA to close the trunk, it's easier because the leverage point has changed and again you are incorrect: no slamming required. It's closes like normal. These are things I know because I can speak from experience, not just bashing something I don't like.

Damn! I was about to say make a write up! As long as its stuff you can get at the store, i would give it a shot.
That suade/alcantra looking inserts are soooo sweet instead of the leather.
Props bro.
Edit: you're in B-More.... how much would it cost to get that done? I am in Fairfax Va.......

Great mod. The constant fingerprints on my trunk really bug, especially on a black car.
I used your idea for inspiration with a couple slight mods. I'm left handed so I put it on the drivers side of the latch. worked out better fo my pull because the 2 press plugs are closer together on that side.
I lack your obvious leather skills so I went to the local ross and without trying to appear creepy perused the ladies purse aisle. I found some kind make up tote or some **** that had a leather handle, d rings and the two leather attachement tabs riveted to the top. $4.99. Sold.
drilled out the rivets to get the handle off and the tote went in the ****can.
I used the original trunkliner push pins. Just pushed them through the leather tabs and pushed them back into the trunklid. So far holding fine and the results look and perform like the factory should have thought of it.
Thanks for a great idea
