Yet one more today...Blitz throttle contoller
I don't understand why this one has not received the attention it deserves....I watched and filmed numerous runs with Derrick using the Biltz controller today and I guess if I did not see it I would not have believed it.
This is piece of gear that plugs in between the Throttle Positon Sensor and the ECU-if I don't have this right I stand corrected-and can be set to Off, Econ, SP1, SP2 and SP3. What it does it to "trick" the computer into thinking the car is at WOT while sitting still or with the same pressure on the gas pedal. I watched him drive it while changing the setting and watched/felt/heard the car increase RPM's. I filmed it sitting still, focusing on the tach/setting of the Biltz and I watched his foot on the gas and it did not move.
We discussed a launch technique that he is going to try at the track-brake revving to 2K and have the Blitz set at SP3 which is the most aggressive while at the light allowing the car to be in the power band off launch without the brakes giving way.
I am very impreessed with it and unlike the sprint booster it can be turned off at any time and shift programs on the fly....wow, wow, wow is all I can say.
Derrick sould be posting the video later tonight.
