Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i cannot figure out what this part is and wether or not i need a completely new ipod system or not....
heres the issue.....

this audio input which converted 4 audio wires were (over time) stretched due to a lack of slack and they eventually became unglewed from the auxiliary converter...do i need a new black piece thing? I have no idea what its called or where to find one, radio shack did not have one...
someone please help!

Not knowing what the auxiliary input is for (oem or aftermarket radio, oem ipod kit, etc), if all that is disconnected are the leads to that jack, I would solder some new leads and crimp the new and old wires together.

You're saying that there's a lack of slack. So you're basically going to extend the wires by either buying some extra wire or better yet, find some useless wires laying around the house. Solder one end of the new wires to the input circuit board and twist or crimp the other end of the new wire to the ripped old wires.
